The Hire Terms & Agreement shown below is an example of the one you would be expected to sign should you wish to hire one of our Inflatables. This is standard practice within the bouncy castle industry and ensures that everyone enjoys a safe and fun environment!
HIRE
TERMS & AGREEMENT
The safe
operation of the castle becomes your responsibility once set up. ACME CASTLES will not be held responsible or liable for any accidents or injuries however caused.
1.
No adults allowed on the inflatable
unless it is one of our adult suitable inflatables. The maximum age limit is 14
years.
ACME
CASTLES
will not be held liable
for any injury/loss occurring to anyone over the age of 14 who contravenes this
Agreement.
2.
A responsible adult (18+) should be on
hand at all times to supervise children and keep the front of the castle clear.
There should also be a first aid kit available and someone suitable to
administer first aid should the need arise.
3.
No shoes, glasses, jewellery, buckles,
badges, key-rings, metal-studded clothing, pets, toys or other sharp instruments
or any other similar items which could cause damage to others or the equipment
is allowed on or near the inflatable.
4.
There should be separate bouncing
sessions for different age groups. Age groups should not be mixed. Different
sized children should not be mixed.
5.
The toddler castle is to be used by children aged 6 and under with
no more than 6 children on the equipment at any one time.
6. Keep children away from the back of the castle and all electrical equipment. If the castle fails for any reason, evacuate immediately to prevent injury, switch off castle at the mains, then check the blower has not come off or untied, if so, slip tube back on and tie back up, switch back on at mains. (If this does not work call ACME CASTLES).
7.
No smoking, fires or barbecues to be
used on/near inflatable.
8.
No food or drink shall be allowed on or
near the inflatable. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or
"silly string" must be used on or near the inflatable.
They make a considerable mess and will permanently stain damage the unit
for which the Hirer will be liable.
9. Do not relocate the inflatable. It has been positioned in a location that has been assessed for risks by our personnel. If it must be moved for any reason please contact ACME CASTLES.
10.
Keep children off the equipment when
inflating / deflating / deflated to prevent risk of injury and protect the
inflatable structure. Deflate the
inflatable when not supervised or in use. (ie.
during adverse weather conditions). The unit must not be used in wet and windy conditions and
must also be suitably anchored at all times.
11.
Do not allow children to swing, climb
or sit on the inflatable walls or bounce on the front step. Do not allow flips
or somersaults on the castle.
12.
Do not overload the castle and limit
the number of users to approx 6 children on 12ft castles and 8 children on 15ft
castles.
13.
Persons under the influence of drink or
drugs should not be allowed to use the equipment.
14.
The inflatable must be returned in an
acceptable condition, i.e. clean, unsoiled and undamaged.
If it is badly soiled or damaged The Hirer will be expected to pay an
additional charge to cover the cleaning costs and our loss of earnings if the
inflatable is rendered out of commission for any reason.

acknowledge and certify that I have had sufficient opportunity to read this
entire document and I understand its contents and agree to be bound by the terms
described above.
